Counter terror officers are leading the investigation into an attempted arson attack at a northwest London synagogue – as Sir Keir Starmer condemns the ‘abhorrent’ incident.

Kenton United Synagogue was ‘firebombed’ at around midnight amid a ‘terrifying spate of daily arson attacks on the Jewish community’. 

The incident marks the fourth attempted bombing of Jewish sites in a month. No injuries have been reported.
