There was a stampede at H&M’s flagship store on Oxford Street when Stella McCartney‘s first collaboration with the brand went on sale in 2005.
Her second, Stella McCartney X H&M, drops today and this time the mayhem will be mostly online – but interest is no less feverish.
McCartney may no longer be top of the fashion leader board (the label has not turned a profit since 2017) but the designer responsible for the world’s first non-leather It-bag – the Falabella – is riding the Nineties nostalgia wave and draws on her greatest hits for this collection.
