A teenage girl was bundled into a vehicle at knifepoint in a ‘random’ suspected abduction in Greater Manchester.
The 15-year-old said she was threatened with a knife during a seven-hour ordeal in Bowdon, a village in Altrincham, on Monday evening.
The girl had been walking alone and witnesses heard her screams from inside the van.
She was reported missing in around two hours and was eventually found in the early hours of Tuesday in a hotel car park in Knutsford, Cheshire.
Police have arrested a suspect who is currently in custody.
