This year’s Chelsea Flower Show has been branded ‘awful’ and overcrowded with camera-wielding influencers – as critics call for organisers to revamp the event.
The Royal Horticultural Society’s (RHS) world-famous show attracts more than 150,000 visitors and millions of TV viewers.
But visitors of the event this week, have taken to X to complain of the overbearing crowds which they claim made it impossible to see the displays.
One attendee told of how crowd control was ‘non existent’ and how she saw ‘people needing wheelchairs because of exhaustion, some fainting because of the heat’.
Another added: ‘Just been to Chelsea Flower Show. It was MOBBED! Boiling too
