A 16-year-old boy was left with serious slash wounds to his face and chest after a ‘horrific’ machete attack by a pair on a moped.
Police are appealing for the public’s help in identifying those involved in the incident in Dudley on Saturday afternoon.
The boy was walking along Duncan Edwards Close just before 2pm when he was approached by the moped duo, police said.
They launched a brutal attack on him and then fled the area.
He was taken to hospital where he underwent surgery, with an air ambulance spotted at the scene, and remains in a serious but stable condition.
