Four teenagers have died in separate incidents after getting into difficulty in the water over the bank holiday weekend.

The deaths of three teenage boys and a 15-year-old girl have been confirmed by police forces in Lincolnshire, West and South Yorkshire, as well as Warwickshire. 

A 13-year-old boy died after being pulled from the water at a popular swimming spot in Halifax West Yorkshire, at around 3.20pm yesterday. 

Police rushed to Leadbeater Dam amid reports that the teen had gotten into difficulty in the water. 

He was later taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead, a West Yorkshire Police spokesperson confirmed.
