A young British man plunged 200ft to his death while skiing in the French Alps, an inquest heard.

Joshua Henry Miles Davies, 25, died from severe injuries after falling in the resort of Villaroger in the Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes in south eastern France.

Mr Davies, of Malbrook Road in Putney, south west London, is understood to have gone off-piste on December 18, 2025, choosing to descend a steep narrow passage.

According to reports at the time, he lost his balance and fell, coming to rest in snow deposits below.
