How Clapham became the unlikely face of London’s TikTok mobs

“Many see them as spontaneous social events rather than anything malicious,” says Oliver Mohedaso, a talent agency founder living in Clapham Junction, who says many of his teenage clients are unsurprised by what they’ve seen on TikTok in recent months. In many cases of smaller link-ups, there’s lots of screaming, lots of running and intimidating behaviour, but no actual looting or vandalising.
