More than 40 parked cars have had their windows smashed in with a crowbar before the 28-year-old suspect was arrested.
Vehicles stationed along Moseley Road in Balsall Heath, Birmingham, had their windscreens, boot and side windows broken at around 10am on Friday.
After concerned members of the public reported a man damaging cars with a metal bar to the police, officers arrived at the scene and arrested an individual on suspicion of causing criminal damage and possession of an offensive weapon.
Video footage shared on social media showed a man wielding a crowbar hitting vehicles and shattering windows – as alarms wailed repeatedly.
