Japanese football fans have once again been hailed for their cleanliness after thousands arrived in Dallas armed with bin bags for the country’s World Cup opener. 

The Samurai Blue got their World Cup underway at a packed and air-conditioned AT&T Stadium on Sunday against the Netherlands as temperatures soared beyond 40C in Texas.
