Mikel Arteta’s side will be hoping to retain their top-flight crown after ending a 22-year wait for glory, but will face a newly-invigorated chasing pack.

Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea will all have new managers in the dugout, while Manchester United will be looking to build on the momentum they generated under Michael Carrick, who is now the permanent boss at Old Trafford.

Despite successive 17th-place finishes, Tottenham will also fancy their chances of challenging towards the top end of the table again under Roberto De Zerbi after an aggressive start to the summer transfer window.
