A devastated husband told a court how his wife was mercilessly ‘thrown almost five metres’ after she was hit by an alleged drunk driver while on holiday in Turkey to celebrate their wedding anniversary. 

Lisa Di Palma, 61, was run over twice by the same driver while trying to cross a dual carriageway on her way to dinner in Fethiye, south-western Turkey, on August 6 last year.
