A Scottish man was found dead ‘with multiple gunshot wounds’ on a Caribbean island on Wednesday night.
Daniel Vettrino, 37, was allegedly shot dead in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines after returning from a day out ‘when he was accosted and shot in a parking lot’, according to local media.
Police on the island have now launched an investigation after they responded to a report of gunshots in the Gym Hill area of Canouan at around 11.30pm that evening.
Mr Vettrino, a technical services manager from Dysart in Fife, was pronounced dead after the incident.
