Three thieves behind the daylight raid of a family-run jewellers are facing jail after admitting their roles in the heist.
Deniz Mehmet, Robert Clarke and Lee Ramsey pleaded guilty to conspiracy to rob after they were seen smashing the windows of Gregory & Co jewellers in Richmond, south-west London, with a large hammer.
Eyewitness footage of the incident on January 31 went viral after the shop staff bravely tried to fend off the brazen attackers, who made off on foot with jewels worth around £225,000.
Mehmet, 28, Clarke, 50, and Ramsey, 46, all from Essex, are due to be sentenced at the end
