Multiple people have been arrested after revellers turned ‘mental’ in Piccadilly Circus following England’s World Cup quarter-final win.

Footage from overnight shows dozens of police officers out on the streets as fans block the roads, dance on bollards and set off fireworks.

It came amid the Three Lions’ 2-1 victory over Norway in Miami thanks to goals by midfielder Jude Bellingham in the first half and two minutes into the first period of extra time.
