Residents of an affluent sailing town are up in arms over plans for a new McDonald’s on the high street over fears it will make their children obese.
Locals and planning chiefs in Cowes, on the Isle of Wight, are lambasting the idea of setting up a branch of the fast food chain in the quiet coastal town to protect young people, they said.
