‘Please don’t hurt her any more!’: Adam Ramsay-Peaty’s family beg star to heal the rift with his estranged mum Caroline after he blamed dreadful Commonwealth Games swim on feud

The family of Adam Ramsay-Peaty are pleading with the swimmer to heal the rift with his estranged mother Caroline after his shock Commonwealth Games defeat, saying: ‘Please don’t hurt her any more.’

As the star bowed out of the event in Glasgow with no predicted gold medals he partly blamed his family for his poor performance, saying the fallout ‘had taken its toll’ during training. 

Now his loved ones are begging him to make up with his parents Caroline and Mark, who for the first time had to watch their son on TV at home after being banned from cheering him on
