Hundreds of thousands of migrants who flooded into Spain‘s North African territory are being frogmarched back to Morocco, after the sudden arrival of so many people sparked a humanitarian crisis.
Some 60,000 migrants crossed into the Spanish enclave on Thursday – which makes up 70 per cent of the territory’s population.
But by Saturday most had made their way back to Morocco, with the Spanish government estimating that some 48,000 migrants had left Spain.
