A Christian motorist was left shocked after being told his car insurance could not continue unless he removed handmade ‘Jesus Loves You’ stickers from his vehicle.
GoSkippy Insurance informed Simeon Chandra that its underwriting department ‘declined the modification done on the vehicle as per stickers added on the vehicle’.
The 35-year-old driver from Birmingham was also warned his policy would be voided unless he removed the stickers and sent in new dated photos of his Nissan Pixo.
Mr Chandra eventually agreed to this so he was still insured, but his case has raised questions over whether Christian stickers are banned by insurance companies.
