A manhunt has been launched after dozens of rare silver antiques were stolen from a National Trust manor house.
Around 25 objects made of silver, brass and pewter were stolen from Baddesley Clinton, near Solihull, Warwickshire, the former historic home of the Ferrers family.
Among the items stolen was a Georgian-era silver salver – a flat plate engraved with the Ferrers family arms.
The item had previously been kept in storage before it was finally put on display in February.
Yet just months later it was stolen after thieves ransacked the historic building.
