Revealed: Shocking food and drink prices at European Championships in Birmingham – with a pork roll costing £18.50 – as Stan Collymore hits out at bosses for pricing fans out

The European Athletics Championships have come under fire with fans being ‘gouged’ with ‘disgusting’ ticket and refreshment prices in Birmingham.

Star names such as Keely Hodgkinson, Katarina Johnson-Thompson, Dina Asher-Smith and Amy Hunt are competing in the first Championships to be held on these shores. 

But seats are being flogged for up to £150 while a barbecue pork roll costs a piggish £18.50 at the Alexander Stadium.  

Ticket prices are decided by European Athletics in collaboration with the Local Organising Committee. 

The fees have been met with half-empty stands, with one supporter branding it a ‘disgrace’.
