Harry Redknapp’s new next–door neighbours have sparked controversy with plans to demolish their 115–year–old Sandbanks home and replace it with a five–bedroom mansion.

David and Heidi Nash purchased their home in the exclusive Dorset neighbourhood for £6million earlier this year but want to tear it down and build a new home with a swimming pool in its place.

The couple’s home previously belonged to the family of the late camping shop tycoon Oswald Bailey and overlooks Poole Harbour.

The property had been in the Bailey family since 1945 when the businessman paid just £7,000 for it.
