A couple who stumbled upon a Second World War bomb shelter in their garden while extending their house have converted it into a glitzy bar – after spending a staggering £780,000 on their renovation.
On last night’s episode of Channel 4‘s Extraordinary Extensions, hosted by Tinie Tempah, KJ and Mike revealed how they converted their tired 1930s former B&B in Canterbury into a sleek modern three-bedroom home.
The pair, who embarked on a journey to do a two-storey timber slatted extension in November 2024 had, however, early on into the process realised there was a historic relic in their back yard.
