Slipknot have announced that they will ‘no longer be associated’ with Sid Wilson.
Earlier this month it was reported that the DJ and keyboardist, 49, was ‘kicked out’ of the heavy metal band after 28 years.
And in a now-deleted Instagram post, the group confirmed his status with them, writing a simple statement which read: ‘Effective immediately, Slipknot will no longer be associated with Sid Wilson.’
The statement, which is still present on the Instagram for the band’s music festival, Knotfest, continued: ‘We wish him the best in his future endeavors.’
Captioning the brief post, Knotfest added: ‘Slipknot have parted ways with Sid Wilson.
