At least 12 dead and dozens injured as Russian missiles blast children’s hospital and civilian targets in Kyiv

Russian strikes killed at least 12 people and left dozens injured in Kyiv overnight as a missile barrage struck targets including a children’s hospital.

The attack hit 12 locations across the Ukrainian capital, with homes and a school also among the buildings damaged.

At least 33 people were wounded as an air raid alert remained active into the early hours today.

The Darnytskyi, Sviatoshynskyi and Solomianskyi districts of the capital were all affected by the strikes.

Ukraine‘s air force said Russia had launched dozens of ballistic, cruise, and hypersonic missiles, as well as 168 drones in its overnight attack on the country.
