Johnny Depp could be set for a triumphant return to Hollywood after his turn as iconic miser Ebenezer Scrooge scored well during an early test screening, according to a new report.
Puck’s Matthew Belloni made the revelation on Friday. He cited an August 11 test screening of ‘Ebenezer’ attended by Paramount studio heads Josh Greenstein and Dana Goldberg in Paramus, New Jersey.
Sources also told Belloni, widely seen as Hollywood’s go-to source for insider information, that the ‘A Christmas Carol’ spinoff scored well overall.
