Buckingham Palace guards pay tribute to Dolly Parton with rendition of 9 to 5 after her death at 80 following cancer battle

Country legend Dolly Parton received a Buckingham Palace tribute after her death aged 80, with military guards performing a version of her hit single 9 To 5. 

Household Division officers performed the song on Wednesday morning, hours after the loss of the much-loved singer who had been suffering from cancer

The Band of the Coldstream Guards played the song in her honour during a Changing the Guard ceremony.

The track was released in 1980, written by Parton for a film of the same name in which she starred alongside Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin

Parton has been widely praised for her literacy and health charity
