Trump backed out of attending 25th anniversary of 9/11 at ground zero because he can’t give speech, report says

Donald Trump will reportedly not attend ceremonies commemorating the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terror attacks at Ground Zero in New York. 

The President – a native New Yorker who launched his real estate empire in the Big Apple – has frequently been seen at 9/11 memorials in the years since the attack.

However, in 2026, he will mourn the victims for a second consecutive year in a ceremony at the Pentagon because he has not been allowed to give a speech, The New York Times reported.
