A British Olympic silver medallist bravely intervened to stop a river rage row on Sunday.
Rowing star Jack Beaumont, 32, was out on the River Thames this morning when a speedboat allegedly rammed into a rower from Maidenhead Rowing Club.
Mr Beaumont asked the skipper of the speedboat what he was doing charging into the small vessels – known as sculls – in his 18-foot vessel.
The owner of the speedboat, understood to be called the Mayfair Lady, then accelerated towards Mr Beaumont.
