Police are calling on the public to help identify an elderly woman found murdered and dumped inside a bin bag in a Liverpool park.
Officers were called on Friday afternoon after a member of the public made the grisly discovery in Stanley Park, Anfield, around 5.25pm.
The black bag had been placed within the walled garden of the park near the Isla Gladstone conservatory.
Despite extensive inquiries, Merseyside Police have yet to identify the victim, who appears to be in her 70s.
On Tuesday evening, the force issued a fresh appeal for help.
