To the outside world I’m cool, calm and collected, immaculately dressed and perfectly coiffed at all times – well, I have to be.

I head up two multi-million-pound businesses – the Philip Kingsley Hair Clinics in London and New York, founded by my late father, and the haircare brand of the same name. But the truth is that I have a history of eating disorders and depression and have suffered from OCD since childhood.

It’s something I have gone to great lengths to hide. But I am convinced there must be so many other women out there like me.
