Two HGV trailers used by brazen thieves to steal more than 70,000 pints worth of Guinness have been found by police.
But the 800 barrels of stout nicked from the depot in Runcorn, Cheshire, last Monday, have yet to be recovered.
The trailers used in the beer heist were discovered by officers in Lathom near Skelmersdale, Lancashire, some 30 miles away from where they were taken.
One trailer was abandoned in the Hall Lane area around 3am last Tuesday while the other was left on Gillibrands Road just after midday the following day, the force said.
