Team Sussex hit back again in royal letter row as they claim they did not have enough time to ‘clarify’ points before Palace released it to public

The row between Harry, Meghan and King Charles escalated today after the Sussexes claimed they were denied the chance to clarify several points in his unprecedented letter describing them as ‘private citizens’, not working royals.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were ‘surprised’ by the monarch’s intervention and accused his aides of failing to give them sufficient time to respond.

Team Sussex claimed their request to clarify parts of the King’s letter was ignored by Buckingham Palace until after it had been made public.
