Apple has just leapt into the world of foldable devices with the exciting launch of the new iPhone Duo.

As with previous releases, UK users will pay more than US consumers for what is already Apple’s most-expensive smartphone ever.

Prices in Britain range from £1,999 to £3,199 while US shops will stock the new foldable for between $1,999 and $3,199. With a straight dollars-to-pounds conversion, Brits would only pay £1,475-£2,360.

In a major break from Apple’s long-established smartphone designs, the iPhone Duo features a rounded 5.4-inch outer display and a 7.6-inch inner screen.
