Speedboat killer Jack Shepherd has been jailed for another 20 months for attacking his girlfriend with burning hot barbecue tongs.
Appearing via video link from prison, the 39-year-old was told he was a danger to society – particularly to women.
Shepherd promised to fix his drinking problem but Judge Martin Edmunds KC told him: ‘I place no faith or value in such expressions of responsibility and remorse’.
The self-styled Casanova became infamous after going on the run following the death of 24-year-old Charlotte Brown when he drunkenly flipped his speedboat on their first date.
Shepherd skipped bail in 2018 rather than face his Old Bailey
