Florence Pugh looks glamorous in a lilac gown as she joins first time nominee Carey Mulligan and James Bond hopeful Jack Lowden in leading the British arrivals at the Emmy Awards

Florence Pugh, Carey Mulligan and Jack Lowden led the way for the British and Irish stars at the Primetime Emmy Awards on Monday evening.

The Midsommar actress, 30, is not nominated this year but will be presenting at the ceremony, while Carey is up for two awards and Jack is hoping to take home one.

Florence cut an elegant figure in a draped lilac gown with a glitzy finish, teamed with a diamond choker necklace and a stylish up do. 

Beef star Carey, who has received the first Emmy nods of her career, was shortlisted in the Best Actress and Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series categories.
