Family of Putney Pusher suspect blame Met police for his death

The family of the Putney Pusher suspect have released a statement blaming the Metropolitan Police for his death. 

The family claimed that Nicholas Brandram, 44, killed himself ‘after months of immense pressure caused by a Metropolitan Police investigation’ into him.

They insisted that he was not the Putney Pusher and claimed that police knew he was innocent.

The family said: ‘The Met Police knew he was not [the Putney pusher]. And yet, when Nick died, they had still failed formally to clear his name. That is a source of profound grief and anger for our family.’
