The Bayeux Tapestry has drawn huge crowds since going on display in the UK after an absence of more than 900 years.
But it is this spoof version that is set to be the star attraction at next week’s Conservative Party conference, as it pokes fun at Labour‘s first two years in power.
Its panels mock events including the Peter Mandelson scandal and Angela Rayner’s resignation, as well as the party’s failure to commit to defence spending.
The exhibit is 88ft long, far smaller than the 11th-century Bayeux, which is 224ft and depicts events leading up to and including the Battle of Hastings.
