A GP allegedly murdered by her husband as she hosted a children’s sleepover was bludgeoned and strangled to death, a court has heard.
Mark Cain, 45, appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court this morning charged with killing 45-year-old GP Hannah Cain, who served members of the Royal Family.
Ms Cain was found dead at her home in Dersingham, Norfolk, in the early hours of Sunday morning while she was hosting a children’s sleepover, the court heard.
Cain spoke only to confirm his name during the brief hearing today. District Judge Matthew Bone told him he had been charged with the offence of murder.
