The Prince of Wales has encouraged people to ‘reach out’ to their loved ones as he notes 20 people die each day in the UK from suicide.
In a self-written post to X, Prince William, 44, marked World Mental Health Day by calling on his followers to take action if they are ‘worried’ about someone at risk of ending their own life.
The Prince – who today also launched his new suicide prevention resource On Your Side – said ‘one conversation’ could change everything for those contemplating the action.
