The White House‘s new press secretary, Katie Zacharia, said ‘this job is not about me’ in some of her first remarks after being named to the position by President Donald Trump.
Zacharia, who was announced as press secretary on Friday, appeared on Saturday morning on Fox & Friends Weekend to discuss her new position.
‘This job is not about me,’ Zacharia, 42, said. ‘This job is about him and how he wants to communicate to the American people.’
She called Trump ‘the most energetic, intense president we have ever seen,’ and touted his policies as ‘the most effective [and] most exciting.’
