Trump was in Fort Myers, Florida to lend his support to Republican gubernatorial hopeful Representative Byron Donalds and Senator Ashley Moody, who is running in a special election to fill the rest of Secretary of State Marco Rubio‘s term.
Polls show Donalds and Moody ahead of their Democratic counterparts, but a little too close for comfort in a state that MAGA has turned red in recent elections.
