Russell Brand was accompanied into court today by his publicity-shy wife Laura Gallacher, who has stood by him throughout his rape trial.
The ‘mummy blogger’, 39, sat crying in the public gallery as the disgraced comedian was found guilty of raping one woman and sexually assaulting three others.
Before the jury delivered its verdicts, Brand, 51, looked at his wife and said: ‘Laura, I love you.’
Laura is the daughter of Ryder Cup winning golfer Bernard Gallacher and sister of TV presenter Kirsty Gallacher. She married Brand in 2017 and they have three children.
Earlier this week, Bernard Gallacher joined his daughter and son-in-law at court.
