Investment boss appears in court after ‘sending business partner and his wife thousands of emails’

An investment boss accused of sending thousands of emails to his former business partner and his wife appeared in court today.

Simon Lyons, 45, and Farid Alizadeh, 45, set up Enstar Capital Ltd in 2004, and worked on more than £100million worth of developments.

In 2023, a High Court judge granted an injunction under the Protection from Harassment Act banning Lyons from harassing Mr Alizadeh and his wife, 46-year-old Natasha Alizadeh.

Lyons is now accused of sending the couple thousands of emails between January 2024 and March 2025.

Representing himself, Lyons appeared at Southwark Crown Court in a black shirt and chinos.
