Murder probe launched after man, 37, dies and another is seriously injured following ‘fight’ on upmarket street by Brighton seafront

A murder investigation has been launched after a man died and another was seriously injured following a ‘fight’ inside a home on an upmarket street near the Brighton seafront.

Police rushed to Moon’s Lodge, in Regency Square at around 2.10am on Sunday after reports of the aggravated brawl. 

Two men were stabbed during the fight. One man, in his 30s, was taken to hospital in a critical condition. 

The second man, aged 37, was pronounced dead at the scene soon after the services arrived. His next of kin have been informed.
