Two men have been stabbed in north London before the suspect ‘who was trying to attack Jews’ was arrested, according to a community group.
Shomrim, which provides security patrols in ultra orthodox Haredi neighbourhoods, described a man running along Golders Green Road with a knife and ‘attempting to stab Jewish members of the public’.
The group said its volunteers detained the suspect before police officers arrived and deployed a Taser before arresting him.
Police officers attended and deployed a Taser before arresting the suspect, it is claimed.
The two victims are receiving treatment.
