Mystery of the mummified corpse found in Chelsea knotweed jungle at £4million mansion is solved

A mummified corpse found in a dilapidated £4million Chelsea mansion has been named as an Irish builder called Frank. 

The property on Ifield Road has been at the centre of a prolonged legal row, with neighbours claiming its poor state has made neighbouring houses unsellable.

Its owner Nicholas Halbritter has now been ordered to remove Japanese knotweed from the garden after it became a rat-infested ‘jungle’.

Concerns about the house date back at least as far as 2010, when a rotting corpse was found inside the basement after residents complained about a smell.
