Ferrari has unveiled its first-ever fully electric supercar – and it has been designed with input from the man who created the iPhone.
Already dubbed the ‘i-Ferrari’, the dramatic 193mph Ferrari Luce – Italian for light – accelerates from 0 to 62mph in just 2.5 seconds.
It made a theatrical debut at a glitzy launch in Rome, with a price tag of around £500,000.
With a unique, self-generated EV soundtrack replacing the traditional Ferrari engine roar, it also promises a range of more than 329 miles on a full charge – enough to travel comfortably from London to the affluent outskirts of Newcastle
