Government to review public EV charging costs as prices soar 38% in five years

The Government has launched a review into EV public charging after a considerable hike in prices in recent years.

The Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) has this week set out its terms for the review, which will address one of the major stumbling blocks preventing mass EV adoption.

ChargeUK has estimated that the average cost to charge an electric car using the public network has increased by 38 per cent since 2021.
