BBC News star Amy Garcia has hit back at trolls in a defiant social media post, after being blasted for wearing dresses that were ‘too short for her age.’
The broadcaster, 45, has been a regular host of BBC Look North since 2020, and had previously worked on CBBC, CITV and The Disney Channel.
Amy shared on Instagram she’d received a ‘handwritten letter’ from one viewer claiming she was trying to ‘dress like a 17-year-old’ with her on-screen looks.
In response, she posted a snap of herself in a floral printed mini dress while perched on Look North’s famous red sofa.
In the caption, she wrote:
